About Hyalite Farm
Welcome to Hyalite Farm and Holistic Veterinary Resources! My family and I live on 15 acres just outside of Bozeman, Montana, near the mouth of scenic Hyalite Canyon. Registered Nigerian Dwarf goats live on Hyalite Farm along with an assortment of chickens, honeybees, family dogs and cats. Our newest addition is an historic 1920's era gambrel roof barn that we relocated from a few miles down the road. It is a gorgeous structure that will provide plenty of room for storage, hay, and my senior does in milk. The barn is in excellent shape and will last many years on its new foundation.
I earned a BA in History from the Colorado College and my DVM from Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. I have received certification from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in veterinary acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and veterinary Tui NA manual therapy. My practice focus has primarily been small animal, and I utilize complementary and alternative veterinary medical treatment modalities including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na massage, and whole food nutrition. I am not currently practicing in the veterinary clinic, but stop by the Holistic Veterinary Resources page to learn more about whole food nutrition and vaccination protocols for both feline and canine companion animals.
